Complete Customization Control of Forms, Fields and Standard Reports

Surgery Works^TM allows you to make form, field and standard report modifications including adding or hiding fields to all patient profile and surgery forms by yourself and at no additional cost.

Other scheduling applications will allow for changes but usually require the software vendor to make those changes for an additional charge.

Complete Electronic Records Capability

Surgery Works^TM allows you to create a PDF copy of any form and report which can be utilized for sending information electronically or to append to an EMR system.

In other scheduling applications, this feature is not currently available.

Additional Software Requirements

Surgery Works^TM is a web based application which means that you can run this application from any client machine with no need to purchase or spend time installing any additional software.

Other scheduling applications will typically require you to purchase X copies of custom software or office software and also incur the cost of installing these programs on each client computer.

Multi-Platform Capabilities

Another benefit of a web based application is that Surgery Works^TM can be run from a computer running Windows, MAC OS and even Unix.

Other scheduling applications are mostly windows based and would only run from a windows computer.

A Single Data Source

Surgery Works^TM stores all of its data in a central Microsoft SQL server database, which is easily backed up, exported and portable.

Other scheduling applications typically require you to save each patient as a separate record, which could result in over 2500 separate files for each year.

HIPAA Security Options

Surgery Works^TM provides you with the ability to have the transfer of data encrypted using 128 bit SSL technology.

Other scheduling applications do not usually have encrypted data transmissions as an option.

Portability

Surgery Works^TM can be made available to remote locations without having a need for a dedicated computer to dial in to.

Other scheduling applications require the use of remote control software which requires a dedicated computer or server to host the application in addition to the client computer being used.
